The first link up is that all the
logos include a circle as a part
of their logo.
Another link up can be on how
they include the BBC Radio
logo beside the graphics.
Although these logos are shown to be
linked. There are a few differences
between them and the reasons on why the
test (i.e. Numbers text is different)
Other differences could include the
colouring the logos used.
BBC Radio 1 – This logo appears to be basic than
the others which follow it. Although the “1” can
identify that this radio station is about broadcasting
popular music genres towards the audience. Which
would preferably be aimed towards teens-adults
(aged 13-24)
BBC Radio 2 – This logo is shown to be much similar
to the BBC Radio 1 logo. Except for the coloring. The
idea of the 2 can act as an alternative station for
mature adults.
BBC Radio 3 – This logo shows it’s number
(3) in a more sophisticated font. Which
shows that the station would broadcast
classical music; which would be much at
interest towards an older target
audience.
BBC Radio 4 – The logo for this station
includes an apostrophe inside the “4”,
which shows that this station is
broadcasting any debates, speeches or
conferences. This would be primarily
targeted to any older audience.
BBC Radio 5 Live – This station’s logo includes “live” as
part of the logo and the stations name. this can be to
indicate that it broadcasts any live news, sports or any
events. This would be aimed towards an adult
audience
BBC Radio 6 – This logo is much more unique from the
others; this logo includes “music” in it’s name which
can show that unlike the 2 previous stations; it’s gone
back to focus primarily on music.
