Bowser claims he is misunderstood and not actually a bad guy. He had always dreamed of visiting the Mushroom Kingdom for vacation but when he arrived, the people mysteriously started turning into boxes. He sought help from the Princess who agreed to help from inside his castle. Mario kept jumping on Bowser's friends' heads to hurt them so Bowser guarded the Princess for safety. However, Mario beat up all of Bowser's friends and made it past his defenses to confront Bowser and rescue the Princess once again. Bowser hopes Mario will one day accept that he isn't such a bad guy.
