- 6. WHY? Always wanted to teach, couldn’t afford it. Three kids in the house My toys (BIG ONES) Apprehensive
- 7. NOW! Reached a point where I feel I just need to DO IT. I truly want to teach young adults real world skills that they can use. I believe it is greatly needed.
- 8. CHALLENGING Calculus but I believe the hardest transition will be Student Teaching next Semester. As mentioned, just need to DO IT!
- 9. ENJOYED Advanced Technology & Supervision I am REALLY enjoying Educational Psychology so far. It really interests me and has re generated my drive to become a Teacher
- 10. WORKING WITH YOUNG ADULTS I first realized I wanted to teach while I was a Company Commander (Navy Drill Seargant) It is not the position Hollywood makes it out to be. It is a very rewarding job where you get to see young adults get off the bus and leave 8 weeks later knowing you have touched their lives forever.
- 11. GOALS Complete my Masters in C & I Develop a short interview for the parents and students to find out what challenges they may have and what I can help with. Also find out what is expected from me during the year. Develop and integrate a business program from inception to marketing to finished product. Give the students something they can use when they walk out the front door of their homes to the great unknown.
