- 3. FAMILY HEALTH HISTORY * My family came to America when I was one and a half years old, because my dad was to attend Stanford up in Northern California. My parents were planning on returning to Korea, but I developed a brain tumor and we stayed here because of the better health care. I believe that I developed the brain tumor because there is a history of cancer among other maladies in my family. My maternal grandmother passed away from pancreatic cancer, and my paternal grandfather perished due to diabetes. FAMILY TREE ** Instead of questions, I’ve written a paragraph When I was growing up, health care was a luxury that not everyone had. It was so much more important for us to not get sick back then than it is for you now. A visit to the doctor when it wasn’t life or death was something that was rare. I’ve just been very fortunate to never have had a serious ailment where I would have had to fear for my life.

- 6. HEALTH TRIANGLE My health triangle is pretty much balanced, for the most part. It’s just not balanced in a very good average. I believe that this is because when something (like stress, in my case) affects one aspect of it, it hits the other aspects fairly equally. Having a weakness in one area of my life can affect other areas because all areas are connected and related. Therefore, when one thing is altered, a chain reaction occurs in your life. - 10. FUTURE ASPIRATIONS Hey Jessica, I just wanted to tell you that you’ve been the best friend I could have ever asked for. I’ve known you foreeeever and you’re STILL tolerant enough to put up with me! Haha, but really, whenever I’ve needed someone in the past you were always there with a listening ear and your shoulder to cry on. And I know that will stay true for as long as we’re friends. Hopefully that’ll be for the rest of our lives! You mean so much to me, and you’ve changed my outlook on life. This kind of friendship can never die~ ayeeee I luff ya! [= * I’ve been offered a job as an instructor at my Tae Kwon Do when I turn 16, so that’ll probably be my job for a few years. As for permanent jobs, I’m not sure yet. I don’t know what I want to major in. I’m also indecisive on family plans. I think that it would be nice to have one or two kids * If I could achieve any one thing with guaranteed success, I would choose to earn up to the highest black belt rank there is
- 11. MEDIA AWARENESS * For me, the media doesn’t really influence what I wear or what I listen to, because I’m pretty hard-headed and independent. I don’t do things just because everyone else does them. I know what I like, and what I want, so I follow my own ideals.
