LET US TRAVEL
POPULATION
Age: 12 -14 years old
Socio-economical level: Students ‘ socio-economical level is average. They are students from a contemporary
society who fall socio-economically between the working class and upper class.
Relationship with English: Not large. The students lack proposals and time that promote foreign languages
(English) performing, like towards the language and knowledge ofdifferent cultures.
LET US TRAVEL
INSTITUTION
Type: Private school.
English level: Students are exposed to English four hours a week. The students’ level of English changes from
student to student, there are ones that have very good level and others who do not.
Pedagogical approach: The school pedagogical approach is a traditional approach where the learning is
facilitated and lectured. Presentations and textbook are present. Grammar is brought more to the class than
anything else, leaving aside cultures and putting interaction with the language itself aside.
This blog will help students to work in a constructivism approach, where an individual learning is present and where students will have
self-instruction and materials. In addition, grammar will be put in content, giving students the opportunity to interact and to compare
several cultures.

- Analyzing what the advantages and disadvantages of each country are
LET US TRAVEL
SKILLS
Reading: Texts to give a general description of the country, texts to mention aspects such as
Geography, Politics, Economy, Demographics…
Writing: Fill in the blanks (superlatives, comparatives), writings with the purpose of analyzing,
reading comprehension questions, true or false questions.
Listening: Videos of native people talking about the country, videos that show different aspects of
the countries.
Speaking: Presentation summarizing the information presented in the blog.
