Raunak Kumar, a third-year Electrical Engineering student at NIT Raipur, is developing a Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) project aimed at restoring cognitive and sensory motor functions through a microcontroller-based decision system. The project involves multiple stages, including data acquisition, signal filtering, and processing to generate outputs for assisting individuals with disabilities. By replacing or augmenting damaged senses, the BCI intends to enhance quality of life and could pave the way for innovations in mind-controlled robotics and industrial automation.
