 B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT/Kanpur 1987
 IRSE 1988 Exam Batch, Joined in January, 1990 – more than
26 years of service.
 M.Tech from IIT Kanpur in Environmental Engineering, May
1989.
 Was President of Society of Civil Engineers at IIT Kanpur
1986-87.
 Received Best Project Award in Civil Engineering at IIT
Kanpur as undergraduate student.
 God fearing person, believe in the principal of “work is
worship” and very passionate.
 Able to take bold decision within the ambient of the
contract.
 Posted in Railways in various capacities in Operation &
Maintenance, Construction, Bridge design and General
Administration.
 Joined RVNL on deputation as Chief Project Manager in
January 2010 and now working as Chief Project Manager
cum Group General Manager for implementation of
projects.
 Executing Metro works in one of the most busy road in
heart of Kolkata City. Have executed three major workshops
and also executing a cable stayed bridge.

Strengths and Weaknesses
 Have all kinds of experiences in Railway and Metro
construction works.
 Having huge experience and successful implementation of
Projects in West Bengal (Eastern Part of the countary).
 Have got experience in Commissioning of Railway Line,
various yard remodeling works, Major Bridges etc.
 Have got experience in Track Layout, Track Laying &
Maintenance procedure.
 Experience in Contract Management.
 Experience of working as a team in Construction/Open line
of Railways and RVNL. Able to interface with all
departments to implement the project .

How can I contribute
 Having my own vast experience and knowledge of various
aspects of construction and Railway working along with
successful co-ordination with the State Government &
various utility owning agencies, I can help in
implementation of various kinds of projects.
 Execute the project in targeted time schedule and
estimated cost based on the experience of completed
projects (three nos of workshops) and two on going Metro
projects. Develop the system and procedure for design &
timely working.
 Develop the procedure and set up the quality control
system and proper documentation of quality control
system.
 Developing internal vigilance mechanism for adopting
better quality control system.
 To implement the project in a very safe manner based on
the experience and of execution of the work in very busy &
congested roads of Kolkata
 To plan the property development at suitable location along
the alignment.
 To plan and develop training facilities at needed location.
 Design of structures to optimize faster construction, space
requirement, improved passenger dispersal system,
develop area having proper business potential, Kiosks,
advertisement etc.
 Can handle and lead multidisciplinary team in time to come
as proven in past.
