This document summarizes a 2-day professional development workshop on developing a cost-savings strategy held on June 18-19. The workshop will be held at one of three venues from 9am to 5pm each day, and will provide lunches, coffee/tea, and a certificate of completion accredited by the World Certification Institute. Financial support is available for company-sponsored applicants through the Skills Development Fund and Productivity and Innovation Credit scheme. The workshop will equip purchasing professionals with techniques to analyze spending, set savings targets, identify opportunities, and document savings strategies to improve organizational cost-savings and bottom lines.
