Mapping for Change (MFC) is a social enterprise based at UCL, founded in 2008, focused on community-based initiatives using participatory mapping and geospatial technologies. The organization aims to represent local knowledge, assist in data gathering, and educate on complex social/spatial interactions through various community engagement methods. Their current work includes projects on air quality, community severance, and urban accessibility, with a vision for mixed methods and community-centered design in the future of participatory mapping.
