The document presents a bulk binding approach for the Proxy Mobile IPv6 (PMIPv6) protocol aimed at reducing handoff latency in Internet of Things (IoT) environments. It highlights the limitations of traditional PMIPv6 signaling when multiple mobile nodes (MNs) relocate between different gateways simultaneously, proposing a clustered sensor architecture to enable efficient bulk registrations via a single message. The analytical results demonstrate that the proposed scheme significantly enhances the performance of PMIPv6 by minimizing signaling costs and overall handoff latency.
