NETWORKING TIPS
FOR 2017
Business connections are and will always be valuable for your
business. If you have tried networking, by now, you probably
know what works and what doesn't. Whether it’s networking
outside your industry (which is a great way to meet people that
may actually need your services) or hosting networking events,
you likely have a clue what works for you and what doesn’t. So,
we encourage you to use that to your advantage. In the
meantime, try thinking of some creative ways to network. We
have compiled a list of networking trends in 2017 that will
hopefully sparkle some ideas. 
1. Blog 
How do you express your
personal opinion about
things that happen in your
industry? Only by Tweeting?
Have you even considered
writing a blog about some
issues happening in your
industry? Since you already
have a network, try to
expand your influence to
other potential people that
are interested in that field.
Blogging is not only fun, you'll also get a chance to collaborate with
people in the blogging and writing word. It helps tremendously
with digital marketing and it gives you an opportunity to share your
thoughts and valuable advice to a wider audience. Just pick a topic
that has been on your mind and just reach out to companies that
are likely to accept featuring your article. You should always make
sure the content is good and provides value for your readers.
2. Social Media 
Sharing fun stuff on your social
media pages, instead of the same
old information (or trying to
desperately self-promote) will
stop chasing away your audience.
To keep things alive, find out
what people like and enjoy and
share some more. Comments are
always welcomed. This strategy
allows you to connect with
people on a personal level as they
get to know you and your
interests. Who knows, you might
be the person they want to
collaborate with next time. 
3. Get closer to
your employees 
Your employees are your
team. Create a working
culture that your
employees will enjoy and
organize some events that
will require your
employees to bring
someone from their
network at the event. It
can be a simple holiday
party that will bring in
new working
relationships.
4. Volunteer 
Volunteering is a great
way for every
entrepreneur to represent
a good picture of their
brand. Volunteering is
never a waste of time.
Even better, your whole
employee crew can
volunteer and promote
your brand and escape the
office hours every once in
a while. It's rewarding and
great for business. 
5. Online
networking 
More and more people network
online and try to find the best
approach to building a network.
