Step 2: The Calendar will automatically display entries for all of the courses that you
teach. Your calendar will also display any institution calendar entries. To only view
calendar entries for a specific course, simply uncheck the corresponding boxes.

Step 3: Select the triangle in the bottom right corner to change the color of your
calendar entries for each course. Select the color that you want to use, and all
calendar entries associated with that course will appear in the new color.

Step 4: To manually add a new calendar entry, you can either click on the + sign in
the top right corner, or click on the date where you want your entry to appear.

Step 5: The new event window will display a blank form for you to complete. The
first thing you need to add is an event name. Since faculty and students will see
calendar entries for all of the courses in which they are enrolled, it is a best practice
to include the course code or the name of the course at the beginning of all
calendar event names.

Step 6: After you have named your entry, select the dropdown menu to identify
which course you want this entry to be associated with on the calendar. This is a
very important step because once you click Save, you cannot come back in and edit
this information. If you choose the wrong calendar, you will be required to first
delete the event and start over.

Step 7: After you select the appropriate course for your entry, enter a Start and End
Date for your entry. If the entry spans across multiple days, it will appear as a
continual color block entry on your calendar. If you do not have a specific time for
your event, select All Day. Enter any specific event details in the Event Description
box and click Save. Items with a due date should be treated as an “all day” event.

Step 8: If you accidentally enter the wrong date for an entry, you can simply drag
that entry to a new location and drop it on the correct date.

Step 9: To delete a calendar entry, simply double click on the entry and then select
Delete. You cannot delete multiple calendars entries at the same time. Each entry
must be deleted individually.

Step 10: To create an entry with a specific start time and end time, move your
cursor and click in the Starts box. Select the specific hour and minute for your event
to begin. Repeat these steps for the end time. Select Done.

Step 11: To make your event a repeating calendar entry, check the box next to
Repeat. Update the fields on the repeat window. This feature works well for
scheduling Office Hours, Live Sessions, etc. In the Event Description box, add any
pertinent information about the event, like links to the meeting location.Links will
be live in student view.

Step 12: A repeating calendar entry with a specific start time will appear on your
calendar. The curved arrow indicates that the event is repeating.
