Camera techniques
- 2. First Scene in the room • When she first walks into the room, there is a long shot of her crying. The camera shot is a close up showing her reaction of seeing the doctor in the room – this connotes that she feels insecure about herself.
- 3. When she’s in the room • There is a wide shot of the room with the three main characters and it’s showing you how Stacey's reacts to what the doctors. It represents disability, it is showing the vulnerability of a person suffering with a mental illness. When she's in the room there's medium shot of her and the doctor talking and you can see the mum in the background shot crying. There using a shallow depth of field where there is focus from the foreground to the background, where the doctor is in the foreground and the mum is in the background.
- 4. When she runs out • Close up of Stacey's biting the policemen which represents the change in personality. In the room she is the innocent one but then her personality changing and shows she is violent against the policemen. It shows her she's desperate not to go hospital.
- 5. Outside the house • The camera shows the status of the policeman when Stacey falls onto the floor, shows he has authority • Composition: long shot of people standing outside the pub. Bradley is in the middle showing that it is aimed at him.
