What is Cognitive Computing?
● IBM Research: “Cognitive computing systems learn and interact
naturally with people to extend what either humans or machines
could do on their own. They help human experts make better
decisions by penetrating the complexity of Big Data.“
● IBM Watson Dev Cloud: “Cognitive APIs are adaptable,
interactive and contextual in the way they provide information.
Instead of simply returning prepared responses, these APIs
provide answers based on what they know to be correct, relying
on information they have acquired over time.“
