Advanced Practice InternshipField Education ExpectationsThree components of all field placements that students will need: To experience new learning At the graduate levelWith a new social work supervisor, who holds an MSW degree with a minimum of two-years full-time post-degree work experience, for the duration of the placement

Field Education Options for Fields Placements/InternshipsInternal Rotation – students are to experience new learning with appropriate supervision elsewhere in the organization Secondment – students are seconded to a partnering agency for temporary assignment Leave of Absence – students take leave from current agency of employment to complete practicum in a new setting
