Now a days almost everyone is aware of the
process of globalisation. It is a world wide
process that includes the exchange of things, and
human beings.
Introduction:-
Meaning of Globalisation
• The word globalization has been
derived from the word globalize.
Which means the emergence of
an international network system
of economy. It simply means the
act of being globalized.
Definition of Globalization
• Globalisation can be defined as the
process of give and take where an
exchange of technologies, information,
goods, etc. Takes place across the
entire world. Simply we can say that
globalisation is a world trade
organization.
Globalisation in India
Globalization in India
In India, Globalization took place during the reign of the
honorable Finance minister Dr. Manmohan Singh in the 1990s.It
was a golden era for India, during this time india slowly and
gradually became one of the most prominent economic countries
in the world.
We cannot doubt the fact that India is one of the fastest-
growing economiesin the world.

Challenges of Globalization
• 1.Core economic meaning:
The increased openess of economies to international trade,
financial flows, and foreign direct investment.
2.Concerns with Globalization centre around the uneveness of the
process and risk.
3. Globalization provides opportunitiesfor business to invest
inforeign markets and to gain access to new capital.
4. Increases in cross boardertrade,Investment and migration.
5. Opened economies domestically and internationally.
6. Technology has been principles driver of Globalisation.

2. Push for Professional development
3. Creater emphasision Training
4. Workplace flexibility
5. Language capabilities

7. Cultural differences
1.Companies of sizes are now
interacting with Customers and
stakeholders from diverse culture
language and Social background.

• Professional development is
concerned with Providing Employees
Opportunities to Achieve career
related Goals.
• Professional development Is
important to Globalization because
it’s creats a Win-win situation.

• Tends to be focused on needs an
professional compitencies of
groups of employees With in the
organisation.
Workplace flexibility
• “Virtual office” is characterised by
creative and flexible work
arrangements.
• There will be increase of emphasis on
performance and results as opposed
to the number of hours worked.
Language capabilities
• In order recruit employees from
other cultures, HR manager all either
have to learn new language or else
they will certainly have foreign
speakers on staff
Global business
• Concept world trade knew a major
growth during the last years.
• They will be required to develop
and manage an international
workforce.
Cultural differences
• Organization must take in to account
cultural differences that shape
managerial attitudes, when
developing multinational
management programs.
Conclusion
• The effects of Globalization on HR environment are proved to be
positive as well as negative. The government of India must try to
make such economic policies with regard to indian industry’s
