How to Prepare Materials for
Print Reserve
• Check BraveCat to see if the Library owns the item and
decide whether to use the Library copy, your copy, or
both. If the Library doesn’t own the item, consider
requesting it for purchase.
• Bring any personal copies to the Library. Personal
copies will be barcoded for circulation, tagged for
security, and labeled for shelving purposes.
• Complete a Copyright Certification Form.
• Submit materials to the Library.
How to Prepare Materials for
Electronic Reserve
• If the item is a periodical, check Journal Finder to see if
the Library owns or has access to the item. We can
scan print periodicals or we can link to electronic
resources.
• Photocopy the material. Remember that all
photocopied material must include the copyright
statement and FULL bibliographic information!
• Complete a Copyright Certification Form.
• Submit materials to the Library.
