Meeting the Standards
This activity aims to self-investigate if the set standards of ISTE for students are being met whenever technology is
integrated in instruction.
A. Fill out honestly the chart below putting a check mark () in the appropriate columns to determine whether you
practice effectively or not the technological standards whenever using technology in learning.

I likewise produce and processed reports with the aid of the digital and
technological tools.
Critical Thinking, Problem-Solving , & Decision Making
I use appropriate digital and technological tools in practicing my creative and
critical thinking skills to identify problems, plan, investigate, collect, process,
analyze information in developing solutions to help in decision making.
Digital Citizenship
I practice ethical, legal, and responsible use of information, communication,
and technology in learning and production of outputs.
Technology Operations and Concepts
I exhibit awareness and knowledge in the effective selection and usage of
technology which allow me to learn, improve, and innovate.

1. Which among the standards do you practice the least? Why?
Research and Information fluency because sometimes I forgot to read what I’ve search and I fail to
remember to examine if this source is reliable or legit. Second, Critical Thinking, Problem-Solving, & Decision
Making for the reason that I cannot use appropriate digital and technological tools in practicing my creative and
critical thinking skills to identify problems, plan, investigate, collect, process, analyze information in developing
solutions to help my decision making. Lastly, is Digital citizenship because as a millennial sometimes I forgot to
acknowledge the author of the article that I’ve search.
2. What intended actions will you do to meet the saidstandard/s?
I guess reading more articles and familiarized those rules related in proper use of technology.

Phase 1: You need to define the advantages of integrating technology into
teaching in order to see the possible good solutions and new better ways work
with this integration to give up your traditional routines
Phase 4: You should prepare a healthy teaching environment that provides effective
technology integration. At this point you should have efficient technical support to make a
healthy atmosphere. Even if it is hard for the school to support such technical materials for
you, you should considerwhat you have in your schoolbefore planning
Phase 5: You should come up with a pros and cons list of the technology that you used in
your lesson.You should define what worked well and what could be improved.
Phase 2: You decide the objectives and assessment methods best suit with this
integration
Phase 3: You should define your own teaching strategies and activities work
best with this approach

This activity will be done by pair. As future teachers, think of a topic related to your specialization that you wish to
deliver in a class. Using the stairways below, design a plan on how technologies will be integrated for a successful
teaching and learning experience. Write your answers in the boxes below.
Topic: Life Cycle of Frog
Grade Level: Grade 8
I will use selected technologies
via connecting it in our topic to help
learners easily understand the lesson for
example using laptop and LCD Projector
and specially to caught the attention of
students.
It emphasized lesson clearly and
it provides a good outcome to the
