Belief in al-Qadar is the sixth pillar of faith in Islam. Al-Qadar refers to Allah's divine decree and preordainment of all things. There are two key concepts - al-Qadar, which is Allah's complete knowledge and preordainment of all things before creation, and al-Qada, which is Allah's creation of all things by His command and will.
