Character,plot and setting
- 1. CHARACTERS, PLOT AND SETTING Jade Thompson
- 2. PLOT • The overall trailer will contain three different storyline; drugs, murder and an affair. These will then be linked together at the very end of the trailer. • With there being three main characters each storyline will be allocated to a certain character. • The location of the soap is in a school and each main character will be part of different groups and all hiding something from their friends. • Each storyline will be shown and explained though short and quick clips and at the end each will receive a message saying “I know what you done”.
- 3. CHARACTERS Character A Character B Character C Character A is going to be based around the storyline of drugs. This character could be played by a female or a male. The actual storyline will be that this character deals drugs but also eventually takes them however, both their friends and family aren’t aware. Character B will be used in the storyline of the affair, I would like to have the character as a female and then she be in a relationship with her boyfriend. Character will then cheat on her boyfriend with either a male or a female character, again no other character will be aware of this. Character C will be part of the murder storyline, this character could be played by a male or a female. The way that the murder will take place is that one character will ask to go into to the theater hall to get something for example their bag, however character C will also go in, as they are walking up the stairs they will be bickering and joking around, Character will push the other character down the stair, who his their head resulting in death. Character C leave the body and other characters assume that the
- 4. SETTING • The main setting is a school, meaning that all the shot will be in the school but in a range of areas. Even thought the actual setting of the soap is based at the school I might also include flashbacks of a different location which may be a house or somewhere outside. • When filming different scenes they will be based around different areas of the school. These will include: • Café • Toilets • Hallway • Common room • Theatre hall
