This document summarizes Drake University's implementation of a print patron-driven acquisition (PDA) program through Ingram Coutts. It discusses the background, pilot implementation, technical considerations, results, and future plans. Drake launched a print PDA pilot in four subject areas which generated 50 purchases totaling $2,037 over 18 months. While the pilot was a mixed success, Drake has now expanded PDA to all subject areas. Future considerations include integrating e-book and print PDA records and determining the appropriate roles of librarian-selected and PDA-driven collection development going forward.
