The lion was napping under a tree when the giraffe accidentally stepped on its tail, causing the lion to roar in anger. The giraffe quickly apologized, explaining that it couldn't see the lion from so high up. The lion then apologized for yelling and allowed the giraffe to eat from the tree. The giraffe thanked the lion and said it would let other giraffes know the lion sleeps there.

- 2. One day, the Lion was taking a nap underneath a tree in the forest.
- 3. Giraffe was walking along, looking for some leaves to eat…
- 4. ..and he suddenly stepped upon someone’s tail! RRRAAAWWWRR!!!
- 5. Lion was VERY angry. Giraffe stepped on his tail, and it HURT! Giraffe began apologizing immediately. “I’m sorry Lion, but my head is so far up here, I didn’t see you sleeping all the way down there.”
- 6. “Thank you for apologizing Giraffe, I’m sorry for getting so angry and yelling at you! You are welcome to stay here and eat from this tree if you would like”
- 7. Well, thank you Lion, This tree has a lot of good fruits and leaves for me to eat! And I will look out for other Giraffes and let them know that you are sleeping here” “Thank You Giraffe!” “You are Welcome Lion!”
