The Battle of the Alamo was a famous battle during the Texas Revolution where hundreds of Texans led by William B. Travis died defending the Alamo mission against Mexican forces led by General Santa Anna over the course of 13 days in March 1836, culminating in the final battle on March 6th where most of the Texan defenders were killed.
