Trilithic has announced a new Ethernet option for its 860 DSP Multifunction HFC Analyzer. The CI-1 Option allows the 860 DSP to communicate over an Ethernet LAN or cable modem and perform functions like DHCP checks and pinging servers to verify cable modem functionality. It also enables remote operation of the 860 DSP via internet browser. An upgrade kit is available for existing 860 DSP units.
