- 2. Second Grade Second grade is as hard as learning a new language. Second grade is fun like Hershey Park. Second grade is as special as a birthday. Second grade is as awesome as meeting your best friend for the first time. Second grade is cool like Bugs Bunny.
- 3. Second Grade Second grade is laughter. Second grade is a roller coaster of learning. Second grade is a new adventure of explosive discoveries! Second grade is an art mystery. Second grade is a carnival of fun! Second grade is a pool of joy!
- 4. Second Grade In second grade, we see students working, teachers grading, and parents helping. In second grade, we hear kids laughing and teachers talking. In second grade, we smell brine shrimp swimming in their tanks – yuck! In second grade, we taste the chocolate from the Valentine’s Day chocolate fountain – yum! In second grade, we feel happy!

- 6. Second Grade This year has been the best, because we had a chocolate fest! We worked hard and studied all year long. We even danced and sang a song! Our class has been so very sweet, When we do something we can’t be beat!
- 7. Second Grade Bang! Ding-Dong! Scritch-Scratch! Psst! Psst! Screech! Crash! Flit! Flit! Tap! Tap! Tap! Hee! Hee! These are the sounds you hear in class.
- 8. Second Grade Mrs. Chilton’s caring class enjoys using classroom computers and clocks and collecting coins for a cause in the community.
- 9. Second Grade The books speak to us as if we are the characters. The word wall teaches us to be more careful in our writing. Crayons dance across our papers as we become artists. The clock waves and says “good- bye” to us as we leave each day.
- 10. I Am the Earth by Avery I am a ladybug crawling on a leaf. I am a star shining in the sky. I am the snow as cold as can be. I am the waves of the ocean. I am a bee flying in the sky.
- 11. Football by Antonio Football is cool. I feel like going to the pool. I make a touchdown on grass that’s green, Then I see myself on the screen.
- 12. My Cat by Sylvia My animal is a cat It’s fur is smooth like a blanket. It’s eyes are blue. It’s body is like spots. It’s ears are pointy like banana tops. It’s legs are furry like a stuffed toy. It sounds like purrrr.
- 13. Mateo Mateo mingled with a mini Mickey Mouse and a mini Minnie Mouse. Together they multiplied numbers with mean monkeys and mutts.
- 14. The Puppy by Kevin My animal is a puppy. It’s fur is smooth like a bed. It moves like a cheetah. It’s eyes are black like darkness. It’s body is warm like a blanket. It’s ears are black like a furry animal. It’s legs are strong like a football player. It sounds like barking.

- 21. McDonald’s by Aaron I like McDonald’s. It’s a great place. It’s peaceful and puts a smile on your face. McDonald’s food is nice. There isn’t fried rice. The playground is fun. When I sometime play at the playground, at McDonald’s I have to run. The sweet and sour tastes very sweet. McDonald’s is somewhere on a street.
- 22. Pool by Omar I like the pool. It is so cool. If you don`t go in the pool, you are a fool. If there is a mouse in your house, you should run and have some fun. Eat some honey, and then you will be funny!

- 24. All About me by Jeremy I wish I were better at writing, but I’m glad I’m so happy . I wish I could build anything I want, But I’m proud I’m so good at science. I wish I were a wild life biologist, But I’m so happy. There are always things I’d like to change or trade, But I’m very happy With the way I’m made!
