Assignment 3: How Can We Stop Bullying / Cyberbullying
Now?
Due Week 10 and worth 260 points
Per the text and assigned course readings, bullying in general
and cyberbullying in particular are
ongoing issues which many students today experience, often
with tragic consequences. As an
educator, one important job you will have is to develop
safeguards against bullying in your
classroom.
Imagine that you are asked to give a presentation at a
conference on a K-12 public school teacher who
is preparing to cover the topic of bullying and cyberbullying in
your class. To prepare for the
presentation, you first have to do some research on your topic.
Write a five to seven (5-7) page paper in which you:
1. Define the terms “bullying” and “cyberbullying”, and specify
the main difference(s) between
these two terms.
2. Design a lesson which addresses both bullying in general and
cyberbullying specifically,
focusing on the following elements:
a. Learning objectives of the lesson
b. Measurement method(s) use to determine student learning
and lesson effectiveness
c. Description of lesson type (i.e. lecture, interactive, peer
learning activity, etc.)
d. Materials needed for the lesson
e. Costs and funding for the lesson
3. Use at least four (4) peer-reviewed academic resources in this
assignment. Note: Wikipedia and
many Websites do not qualify as academic resources. Peer-
reviewed academic resources refer
to articles and scholarly journals that are reviewed by a panel of
experts or peers in the field.
View this video for more information on obtaining peer-
reviewed academic resources through
your Blackboard course shell.
Your assignment must follow these formatting requirements:
• Be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size
12), with one-inch margins on all
sides; citations and references must follow APA or school-
specific format. Check with your
professor for any additional instructions.
• Include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the
student’s name, the professor’s
name, the course title, and the date. The cover page and the
reference page are not included in
the required assignment page length.
The specific course learning outcomes associated with this
assignment are:
• Analyze how educational theories and practices impact
contemporary issues in education.
• Survey and analyze issues facing the changing demographics
of education.
• Evaluate the impact of technological change on contemporary
issues in education.
• Use technology and information resources to research
contemporary issues in education

Job duties-TEMPLATE (For information only)
· Develop various extracts using IBM infosphere DataStage
required for Executive dashboards which contain the reports
about the liquidity risk, stock quotes, correspondence balance
and loan value. This dashboard is being accessed by CEO, CIO
of xxxxx through hand-held device to check the summary of
these key matrices. Extracts are scheduled for every 2 hours in
Cisco Tidal to provide the real time data to the executives to
make timely decisions – 5%
· Create ETL logic to calculate the delinquency, consecutive
payment history from past 36 months on a daily basis and
loaded into Oracle partitioned table. These values are calculated
from multiple attributes of the loans which is obtained by
joining different tables which contains data regarding related
accounts and delinquency in the data ware house -5%
· Automate Commercial trail balance report in IBM Cognos.
Previously report was being created manually using access DB
by the business user. Design re-usable DataStage utilities to
extract data from Automated Financial System (AFS), load Data
warehouse and DataMart after applying complex business rules.
– 5%
· Create Key performance indicator reports for Escrows,
Delinquent loans, Loans boarded, Loan acquired from other
banks like Desert community bank or Wells Fargo, Estimation
of future acquisitions. Develop ETL logic to load the summary
and detail tables with different measurable values like number
of loans, average loans per month, average loan year and trend
comparing the current vs previous year/month. -10%
· Perform extensive testing of data loaded before automating the
queries in the Cognos and made them available to the business
users. Ran various complex queries on the data being used in
the report and compared it with source data and existing manual
report data to see if the total amount and loan numbers are
matching in report tables – 10%
· Create master customer database, which provide a 360-degree
view of the customer using IBM master data management
toolset. Perform analysis of data related to the subject area of
parties associated with a loan and collateral by writing the
complex queries on huge volume of data. Develop data models
to incorporate party information coming from diverse source
systems like loan processing system, mortgage originating
system, retail banking system and load data using ETL
DataStage. – 10%
· Develop Oracle passport views, partitioned tables, functions
and procedures in Oracle SQL/PLSQL as per the request from
the Corporate MIS team and Subservicing team. Performance
tuned the ETL process and queries using advanced scripting
techniques like hints which will override the system execution
plan. Developed logic in oracle scripts instead of physical
storage of the duplicate data in database to fulfill the user
requests to make data available from the partitioned table
everyday not only on business days. This helped to optimize the
database storage. -5%
· Develop ETL jobs to extract real time Stock data from
Webservices and developed jobs to analyze complex data
structures like JSON and XMLs by utilizing advanced features
in Oracle and IBM DataStage. Implement data quality checks
before loading data to target table using information analyzer
and DataStage Quality stage – 10%
· Automate the extract, transform and load process to support
various data feed engines in the organization like BAMO and
wide variety of reports like Quantitative Risk Management,
Capital Market Reports, Secondary Market Reports, Mortgage

3. Take a position on whether or not it is feasible for you to
turn this school district around within
the length of your five (5) year contract. Provide support and a
rationale for your position.
