Dedications…To my brother & parents…. To my friends who have stood by me when I needed them the most and respect me for what I am…. Special thanks to my well wishers SelvaShankar and Ram Saravana..You guys are one in a million..
X and YIn 2004 ,X was ranked 316 on Rolling Stone’s list of 500 greatest songs of all time. X was recorded in Abbey Studios and encompasses Y’s feelings of alienations from people. When asked by the NYT, whether X was about Alzheimer , Y replied thus :"I don't have to explain my songs to you! I wrote it around the time my grandmother died. She spent her last years at my mother's house, and when I visited, she would look at me with an anguished expression and go, 'Robert!' Robert was her husband, who had been dead for twenty years. It was very tortured and moving"
‘Wish you were here’Phew! It took 23 years for me to be cured of the “Jim Reeves Syndrome”
The Effect? In hunting the phrase “X effect" has been used by some commentators to suggest that people's objections to the killing of animals which they perceive as adorable (particularly deer and other woodland creatures), while the same people do not objecting to the killing of animals not perceived as adorable. This effect is derived from the name of a white tailed deer of a 1942 Walt Disney animation film of the same name.

What iconic photo?Supposedly taken by Robert Kenneth Wilson, a London gynaecologist, it was published in the Daily Mailon 21 April 1934.Wilson's refusal to have his name associated with the photograph led to its being called X. Analysis of the full photograph revealed the ‘object’ to be quite small, only about 60 to 90 cm (2 to 3 ft) long. Its importance lies in the fact that it was the only photographic evidence of a “head and neck” – all the others are humps or disturbances. The image was revealed as a hoax in 1994.

Roger Ebert on a Tamil movieI watch the film in horrified fascination. I admire “___" because it sidesteps the ideology, the question of which side is right and which side is wrong, the political motives, the tactical reasons and simply says: Here is a young woman who has decided to kill and be killed for a cause. Look in her eyes, listen to her voice, watch her as she lives for a few days, and ask yourself what motivates her, and why. Every time I see the film, I feel a great sadness, that a human imagination could be so limited that it sees its own extinction as a victory.

Whatte bookThe phenomenon in which "the rich get richer and the poor get poorer" is dubbed "accumulative advantage" by Malcolm Gladwell, while sociologist Robert K. Merton calls it "the X Effect", named after a biblical verse in the Gospel of X: "For unto everyone that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance. But from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath."
