TheCodeprovidesinformationonwheretofindmoredetailedstandards

whenwe’refacedwithdifficultdecisions.Thisbuildstrustandhasapositive
effectonthosewetouch.
Lawsvaryfromcountrytocountryandwemustalwayscomplywiththem,
butasaglobalcompany,weneedtogofurther.Tobeatrustedcompany,year
afteryear,weneedtoworktoaconsistentandhighersetofstandardsand
followthemineverythingwedoandsay,everyday,everywherewework.

OurCoderepresentsourcommitmenttodotherightthing,
includingrespectingtherightsofothers.BybeingpartofBP
youareagreeingtoupholdthiscommitment.Ifyoudonot,you
couldputyourself,yourcolleaguesandBPatrisk.Putsimply,
failuretofollowthisCodeismisconduct,whichcouldresultin
disciplinaryactionandevendismissal.
NopartofourCodecanbewaivedwithoutpriorapproval

whowillobtainapprovalsandmakesureallappropriatereports
