This document discusses using a scavenger hunt to teach collaborative skills in a fun way. It describes conducting a scavenger hunt with 52 students from different countries on a management course. The objectives were to mix cultures, apply collaboration principles, and work as a team with unclear information and time pressures. Feedback showed most students enjoyed meeting new people and realized collaboration involves compromise. While stressful, students learned collaboration skills can be useful for group work. The scavenger hunt proved it is possible to teach collaboration skills in an enjoyable manner by incorporating real-life challenges and allowing time for reflection.
