Communication allows people to stay connected and learn about places both near and far. Various means of communication have developed over time, improving how information is shared across the world. Ancient means included pigeons and postal letters, while more modern options such as the telephone, cellular phones, newspapers, television, and internet now enable rapid mass communication and connectivity on a global scale.
