PC COMPONENT Central Processing Unit (CPU) • Is the "brain" of the computer. • It performs all the operations that the computer does, from simple encoding of text to complex rendering of video. • faster the speed of your processor, the faster your computer will run. • The most known processors are made by Intel, include the Pentium, and Core (i7).
- 3. Random Access Memory (RAM) • RAM is second component to determining your computer's performance. • It store computer activities until they are transferred and stored permanently in hard disk when you shut down or restart. • RAM is measured in gigabytes (GB).
- 4. Hard Disk Drive • where all data and programs are stored in your computer • hard disk with a higher capacity is always better.
- 5. Motherboard • The motherboard is a large circuitboard that connects all the parts of the computer, including the hard disk drive, CPU, and RAM.
- 6. Power Supply Unit • Is an internal IT hardware component, power supply converts the alternating high voltage current (AC) into direct current (DC) • also regulate the DC output voltage to the fine tolerances required for modern computing components
