- 2. Volatile file : Temporary file used only to store data temporarily . Bit : The English acronym Binary Digit ( bit ) and represents the smallest unit of information as possible , as it amounts to an electric shock with a value that can be one (equivalent to on ), or zero ( off) . Integrated circuit: An electronic circuit that integrates all passive and active elements needed to perform a function. These are sectors of the page ( text or images ) that are linked to other pages , so just click on them to " move " to another page , which can be located on any server in the network. Excel : is an office tool in the set of programs called electronic spreadsheet in which you can write, store , manipulate , calculate and organize any type of text or numeric information . Title bar The title bar shows the name of the application and the name of the worksheet . Menu Bar: The menu bar displays all the menus that are available in Excel 2003 . The contents of any menu can be viewed by clicking on the menu name with the left mouse button .

Column Headings : An Excel spreadsheet has 256 columns in total, each of which is identified by a letter or combination of letters . Row titles An Excel spreadsheet has 65,536 rows in total, each of which is identified by a number. Name Box : Shows the direction of the current selection or the active cell.
