This course teaches the fundamental principles of five predictive maintenance technologies: vibration analysis, infrared thermography, airborne and structure-borne ultrasonics, oil analysis, and motor circuit analysis. Attendees will learn how predictive maintenance reduces overtime and emergency work, increases plant capacity without capital investment, and how to strike the right balance between preventative and predictive maintenance to eliminate unnecessary work. The course also covers how to implement a self-funding predictive maintenance program and identify failure modes using these technologies.
