The document describes the Connect Nebraska project, which aimed to connect 4th grade students from different regions of Nebraska as "experts" via video chat and discussion forums. Teachers participated in training on Skype and wanted to use the technology to let students discuss various topics. The goal was for more classrooms to participate in future years and improve use of the accompanying website to better facilitate discussions between multiple classrooms.
