what are some of the basics?
How do I edit the information?Then use the Edit links for each piece of information you want to changeStart by clicking the Edit My Profile Link in the left navigation paneClick Update Photo in the right navigation pane to add a photo
How do I add a photo?Click Browse to find a photo you want to useChoose the photo from your computer and click Save
How do I add Present and past employers?Listing present employer and all past employers helps you find more Connections and makes your profile more complete.To add or change information, click the Edit link.
How do I add employment details?Fill in the employment details and a short description.  Click Save Changes.
How do I add Education, articles, clients & hobbies?At the bottom of your profile, you have the option of adding information about your Education, Articles written, Clients represented, and Personal Interests and Hobbies
Anatomy of a Good profile:ClientsClient listings help build your referral network by putting others on notice about the kind of work you do.
Hobbies and interestsDon’t overlook this section.  Listing interests and hobbies can be a great way of meeting people on the networkI once got a job interview b/c the partner saw I had “kung fu” listed on my profile (it helped me stand out).
Why is a complete profile important?More info means more suggested connections
Suggested Connections:People you’ve worked withYou find Suggested Connections the People You May Know link in the left navigation barOur system pulls data based on present and past positions
