- 3. Text to Self • When I saw the word ‘ripoff’, it reminded me of a time where I bought a drink for nine dollars, but later I discovered that in another shop it was only six dollars, and I wasted my money.
- 4. Text to Self • When I noticed the word ‘rootbeer’ from Rootbeer Racinette, it reminded me about a friend of mine because when he drank it he said it tasted like medicine, but another friend said it tasted excellent.
- 5. Text to Self • When I saw the phrase ‘hours of bugging, insults, baiting and sarcasm’ it reminded me of this party that I didn’t enjoy.
- 6. Text To World • When the president thought ‘He’s a genius he could just take a look at an operation and immediately see ways to improve it’. This reminded me of Armaan because he can also immediately see ways to improve technology too.
- 7. Text to Self • When Jessica said ‘I flunked a course this spring and my mom wants me to redo it. It reminded me of this time when I almost needed to redo my test.
- 8. Text to Self • When it said ‘Ferguson and Don threw pillows at me’. It reminded me of a time when me and my friends had a pillow fight.
- 9. Text to Text • When I read the part about owing Plotnick money it reminded me of reading a book called “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” because the main character Greg and his best friend Rowley also needed to pay back money to Rowley’s parents
- 10. Text to Self • When it said ‘I forgot where I parked the car’. It reminded me of a time when my dad parked the car and then after awhile he forgot where he parked it.
- 11. Text to Text • When I saw the name Mars it reminded me of the last literature circle book called “Maniac Magee”. Mars was an enemy to Maniac Magee at first but at the end they were friends.
- 12. Text to Text • When I saw the word ‘World War 2’ it reminded me of this book that was also called World War 2 and it was about what weapons, amours and its history too.
- 13. Text to Self • The word ‘bubble wands’ reminded me of playing with my cousins bubbles and ending up with lots of soap everywhere after.
- 14. Text to Text • When I saw the word July filling up 2 pages it reminded me of a book named “The River” because when I was in the middle of the book I saw “The River” also filling up both sides.

- 16. Text to Self • When it talked about the sofa and how it slumped down when he sat on the sofa it reminded me of the trampoline I use to play when I was kid.
- 17. Text to Self • When I saw the word ‘food poisoning’ it took me back to the time when I was vomiting and was staying in the hospital.
- 18. Text to Text • When I saw the word Chaplain it sounded familiar because in the Garfield Movie there was a character named Chaplain (he was a bad guy because he wanted to steal Odie the dog
- 19. Text to World • When it said the air is heavy and humid. It reminded me of global warming because the weather is changing. It also reminded me of people telling me to recycle and donate money for environmental charity.
- 20. Text to Self • When I observed at the word ‘Spain’ I remembered the time I went to Shanghai Expo and visited the Spain Pavilion and there was an amazing spanish dance in the beginning and at the end there was a enormous baby robot that can smile and blink .
- 21. Text to Self • After I saw ‘three-thousand-seat hockey arena’ it reminded me of this concert I went that had more than three thousand seats. The concert has lots of cool effects like fire works and laser.
