- 2. Type of Constraints You need to identify the aspects of your production that may be restricted by the actions of others. For each constraint you need to explain (in detail): • Why it is a constraint? • How you will manage the constraint? • What contingency(s) can you effectively put in place in order to reduce or remove the constraint?
- 3. Time Scale; Time Management • Project as a whole o What is the timescale? o What is the deadline? • Your shooting schedule o When do you plan to shoot? o What days/times o Availability of locations and personnel
- 4. Personnel • Crew o Who is responsible for what? o Are the adequately skilled? • Actors o Are they reliable? o Are they good? o Are they appropriate? • Contributors o Are they reliable? o Are the worthy? o Will they provide?
- 5. Resources • The necessary Equipment i.e Lighting, Lenses, Reflector etc… o Review the equipment available at college o Consider if you need to out-source (hire) • Software o Is it available? o At the right times? o In the right location? • Props o What do you need? o Can you get it? o Are you allowed to have it?
- 6. Legal and Ethical Considerations • Copyright o Review Copyright Law o Outline any issues you may encounter • Codes of Practice o Whose procedures should you follow? • Clearances: Location, Contributors. o What procedures do you need to follow?
- 7. Logistics • Organisation of transport (personnel / equipment) food o Who is responsible? o Is it logical? • Locations o Recce o Suitable o Access (Crosses over with Time Management and Resources)
- 8. Ghant Charts • How will you organise yourself? • Have you considered using a Ghant Chart?
- 9. Budgeting You need to create an actual and projected budget Your actual budget is how much your project will actually cost you Your projected budget is how much this project would cost you to make if you were a professional.
