The George Washington University School of Media and Public Affairs is seeking a full-time journalism and multimedia faculty member to prepare students for diverse media environments. The position is renewable and can be at the assistant or associate level depending on experience. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree, professional experience, multimedia skills, and an ongoing research or practice agenda. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in journalism or related field, strong teaching and communication skills, and experience in more than one type of media such as print, broadcast, digital, or entrepreneurial journalism.
