Contract NodeJS Developer Seeking a rockstar NodeJS developer to build out the backbone mobile platform that will power a core technology application platform to join their mobile engineering group. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced development environment within a global corporate environment and will bring and an energetic, fun, and creative approach to their work. You must have worked with NodeJS, JavaScript, HTML5. Key responsibilities: • Design and develop next-gen server platform to power Education service • Solve immensely challenging performance, security and scalability issues • Challenge existing development practices and methods of work • Work on the scalability, resilience, and efficiency of backend components • Build storage systems, libraries, and frameworks • Collaborate closely with mobile client application developers and product managers to help shape the evolution of the service • Develop and integrate cloud solutions to serve specific needs • Develop dynamic caching strategies to promote horizontally scalable enterprise solutions • Use expert knowledge to help guide design and engineering decisions • Improve unit testing and continuous integration processes • Pro-actively look for ways to make the solution better Requirements: • You have extensive experience working with and building web services • You are an expert in at least 2 of the following: JavaScript (server-side), Node.js, Scala, C/C++, Java, Python, Erlang, REST, JSON, OData, GO, Haskell, Clojure • The following excite you: Node.js, MongoDB, HTML5 • Experience building and deploying world-class web/mobile software solutions • Familiarity/experience with Agile software methodologies • Degree in Computer Science or related field • 5+ years experience • Database and queue experience – we use MongoDB • Experience or interest in data analytics • Experience or interest in learning scaling techniques • Experience with Gaming platforms is a huge plus Contact Ricci@abrs.com or 07780456364 +44 (0) 1491 411 020 www.abrs.com info@abrs.com
