The community of Coombs, BC is located on Vancouver Island along Highway 4 between Tofino and Port Alberni. It has a population of approximately 1300 residents and is unincorporated. Coombs was settled in 1910 by Salvation Army immigrants and named after Thomas Coombs. It has a strong community and various recreational attractions nearby.
