THE CPI USES A SCALE FROM 0 TO 100 100 is very clean and 0 is highly corrupt 180 COUNTRIES SCORED 50/100 MORE THAN 2/3 OF THE COUNTRIES SCORE BELOW 43/100 THE AVERAGE COUNTRY SCORE IS NO COUNTRY EARNS A PERFECT SCORE = 66/100 WESTERN EUROPE & EUROPEAN UNION HIGHEST SCORING REGION AVERAGE REGIONAL SCORE SINCE 2018 = 32/100 SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA LOWEST SCORING REGION AVERAGE REGIONAL SCORE SINCE 2018 AVERAGE REGIONAL SCORE More than two-thirds of countries score below 50 out of 100.
