Using time wisely
“Don’t be fooled by the calendar. There are
only as many days in the year as you make
use of. One man gets only a weeks value
from a year while another gets a years value
from a week.”
-Charles Richards
How can we use our time
more wisely?
Monthly and Yearly Review
As we go about our days and weeks it is
important to track and keep record of all that
you have accomplished. Make sure every
month to see what you have accomplished and
set goals for the next month.
Do the same thing each year.
Weekly Planning Session
At the end of each week review all that you
have accomplished and plan out the week
ahead.
Recall your months goal as well as your overall
goal you are working towards.
Daily Planning Session
“Our day tomorrow starts tonight, so never
begin a day until it is finished on paper”
Daily Planning Session
 Conduct a planning session at the end of
each day.
 Review what you accomplished
 Make plans for the next day of how you will
work towards your goals for the specific week
Three Types of days
 Brainstorming Day
 Action Days
 Rest Days
Brainstorm Days
 Taking time for brainstorming or thinking and
discussing about ways to further your
progress towards your goals will help you to
stay focused and keep fresh new ideas in
your mind.
Action Days
 These are days that you really work and
pursue your goals. Put your brainstorming to
work.
 For every brainstorm day you should have 2
or 3 action days.
Rest Days
 Rest days will give you that much needed
break for you mind to recapture itself. When
we take a step back and rest it gives us a
knew perspective and spurs new insights that
you can put to use.
Ordering your days
 The order of your days is really up to you
finding a way to use these types of days that
works best for you will go a long ways in your
success.
 Here is an example of how you might break
you days down….
Example 1
 Monday- Brainstorm
 Tuesday- action
 Wednesday – action
 Thursday – rest
 Friday – action
 Saturday – action
 Sunday – Brainstorm/Rest
Example 2

 Wednesday – Brainstorm
 Thursday – action
 Friday – action
 Saturday – action

Road Blocks
“Law of energy in motion is that energy
cannot be stopped it can only change form
or direction. So when you hit a road block
remember to simply go around it and find
another way.”
What road blocks have
you had in your life?
How did you overcome
them?
FEAR
False
Evidences
Appearing
Real
“Feel the fear and do it
anyways”
“That in which we persist in doing becomes
easier, not that the nature has changed but
the will to do it has increased”
- Unknown
HOMEWORK
PREPARE FOR NEXT CLASS BY PUTTING
TOGETHER SOMETHING THAT SHOWS
WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH BY 2020. AND
COME IN CHARACTER AS IF YOU HAVE
ALREADY ACCOMPLISHED YOUR GOALS.
