The Cruwys and Cruse one-name study and DNA project, initiated by Debbie Kennett, began in January 2002 and has documented the family history and lineage of these surnames in depth. The project includes a collection of approximately 2500 historical documents, DNA testing results from various individuals across different countries, and an extensive genealogical database. Through active research and collaboration, notable findings include surname evolution and connections between various lineages, extending back to the 13th century.
