Title & Description Engineering Collective-Transactional-Contexts in Virtual Spaces to enhance Academic and Professional Development. Event: CS/IS seminar series on October 3rd In this presentation I will discuss some of the emerging findings from a study of Collective Transactional Contexts with 3rd year students undertaking papers in Management and Physiology. I will give an overview of the virtual environment used and explain the overall architecture that was employed. The primary focus of this talk will be to look at the degree to which the environment supported the development of a Collective Context.
Focus / Participants Research Approach/Method Architecture – Site Contexts Defined Building Structure Findings so far Contents
We are interested in the changes that result from interacting events of individuals/groups within a sociotechnical context over time. Specifically.. the student’s intellectual functioning as mediated by the contexts and goals we have imposed. the student’s use of the tools, materials and people to meet their collective goals.
