- 15. • Skill Development programs- Providing sewing machines to poor and skill training for jobs • Health- Conducted various health camps and also donated artificial limbs of worth RS 5,00,000 • Conducted various eye checkup camps which have resulted in restoring eye sight to about 500 old people by providing spectacles worth Rs 600000-/-. • Drinking Water- Visaka Industries have constructed and dugged various irrigation tanks and borewells to ensure that the poor have access to safe drinking water. • 1075 borewells were dug at the cost of Rs 3,20,00,000 • Contructiion of irrigation tanks have benefited to almost 400 poorest families of SC at a cost of Rs 4000000

Activities • Patient Care: DRFHE has a vision of to become a globally admired provider of innovative healthcare vistas by making a difference to 100,000 individuals in the healthcare value chain by 2012. • Education: Providing various opportunities for learning to those who have never been to school, or have dropped out of it. research community needs, develop and pilot new projects, scale them up, and once proven, collaborate with the government and various Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to roll them out. • Livelihood: Through a wide array of vocational training programs, DRF addresses the issues of employability, income generation and consequent improvement in quality of life. As of now, the program has touched 2, 63,000 livelihoods.

CSR Focus Area • Sarva Siksha Abhiyan (SSA) scheme - Signed MoU with SSA to improve performance of the government's schools by means of “Adopt a school” program • Associates of Infotech at Noida formed an NGO named “To the Heart”. This NGO is committed to provide education to the underprivileged children.

CSR Activities: • Provide employment to approximately 150 people and help them earn their bread and butter • To these daily wage employees company is providing on job training both technical and non technical apart from medical benefits • Every year they identify a few meritorious students and award scholarships to them • They also organize blood donation camps • Apart from a good wage, the daily wage employees are also compensated with a PF, ESI and good medical facilities.

More than USD 16 million (Rs. 803.5 million) spent for grants, scholarships and loans. So far, we have reached 83,245 beneficiaries through grants, scholarships, and loans. Data as of January 2012: 5,804 Mahindra All India Talent Scholars have pursued vocational diploma courses at Government polytechnic colleges. 1,023 deserving students have pursued graduate studies overseas with the K.C. Mahindra Scholarship for Post Graduate Studies Abroad 3,467 top scoring students have received Mahindra Search for Talent scholarships 75,000 underprivileged girl children have gone to school with Project Nanhi Kali 3,000 disadvantaged youth have graduated from Mahindra Pride Schools with employable skills and good jobs
