JIRA 590 - CMS 158 non-IPP patient ■ Cypress does not “expect” a patient that should be in IPP for CMS 158 ■ This is a very specific bug that only occurs when – 0 days “start before or during” is used (only CMS158v3) – Time range spans over the day boundary ■ This error is non-deterministic and occurs due to data randomization 3 CMS158v4 updated to use “overlaps”

JIRA 591 - CAT 3 validation bug for performance rate ■ Cypress and Cypress Validation Tool return confusing error messages when performances rates have rounding errors ■ This will happen when a value of .666666 is reported and Cypress is expecting .666667 – The Cypress validation correctly rounds the performance rate, and the Cypress error message displays the wrong value ■ The CMS 2016 Combined Implementation Guide specifies – The following rounding rules must be used when submitting performance rates: ■ For a calculated performance rate that has >= 7 digits after the decimal point, round the decimal number to the millionth. ■ For a calculated performance rate that has <= 6 digits after the decimal point, rounding is not permitted for the performance rate. 4

JIRA 597 – Exception thrown in Cat III test ■ Cypress 2.6.1 validates that QRDA III files do not include duplicate Measure and Population Ids ■ The following exception is thrown when – Duplicate population Ids are in the file AND – The duplicate population Ids are not valid 5 Screen shot of error message Sample XML that causes error The measure being reported (CMS 165) does not have DENEXCEP or OBSERV populations
