PURPOSE OF TRAINING To Enhance data accuracy To Provide Correct data to factory Factory quality people uses our data for following purposes Improve our product quality by monitoring and analyzing the data  Focus on frequent failure parts / boards by pulling out data regularly Suggesting the improvements to HO
AREA  TO BE FOCUSED Proper Filling Of Remarks column Description & Location Number For  Resoldering Part Entering Correct model & Serial Number Selection of service type Description of Part replacement  Excluding before service calls Non defect entered as defect Proper Repair Description For Adjustment
Entering Correct  Model & Serial Number We all are aware that in the serial no first four digit denotes the model code for the particular model. But the data taken from SAP doesn’t match with the model code mentioned in the serial number To avoid this mismatch ,exact  Model & serial number to be entered. Entering of model code
Description of Soldering Description of Soldering w.r.t soldered area / component: Where ? Main board / Auxiliary board / Name of Board Exact location number What ? Capacitor / Resistor How? High voltage / Poor soldering / Solder cracks Actions taken Resoldering / Replacing
Remarks column: Short and precise description of action taken  Which Adjustment or which mode changed in factory mode to solve the problem to be mentioned properly.  Ex: Factory Mode adjustment done  for ………. 3) Defects due to external cause to be mentioned  Ex :Lightning, Thunder or High Voltage Remarks column
Selection of service type Entering of correct Service type IH / CI / SR  Error mostly happens in Stock set repairs If the repair code is entered as X10, then the service type  should be SR calls. Selection of service type
Description of Part replacement   Parts not used in chennai MFG plants are mentioned for analysis If more than one parts are replaced, enter the main part which caused the problem Description of Part replacement
ACTION PLAN Responsibility of Data Entry operators To enter data accurately To demand properly filled CSR and related documents To avoid incomplete / incorrect / irrelevant data Responsibility of Service Engineer To provide validated data To update common terms used regularly
Before closing a call check the following points thoroughly to avoid Data Entry Errors 1.Correct Model Number & Serial Number 2.Defect Detected Column by Engineer 3.Repair Done column  by engineer 4.Defect Block 5.IRIS Codes (Condition Code, Symptom Code, Defect Code & Repair Code) 6.Correct Part Number 7.Exact Location Number of the part dry soldered or replaced (If IC Dry Soldered    mention the correct pin number with location number) 8.Use Condition Code  X  & Repair Code  EO1  for nuisance calls. 9.Proper Filling Of CSR Planner 10.Updating Follow up Details 11.Productwise Check List To Be Marked SUMMARY
