This document outlines a 3-step data team process for analyzing student assessment results: 1) collect and chart assessment data on student performance, 2) analyze strengths/errors to identify next steps and monitoring tools for different student groups, 3) develop a goal statement and monitoring plan to improve the percentage of proficient students. The process involves tracking various student performance metrics and determining instructional practices and supports needed for proficient, nearly proficient, low performing, and students needing extensive support.
