- 2. Overview David Hasegawa Started school in 1964 at Liholiho Elementary School in Kaimuki. Graduated from Kaimuki High School in 1977. University of Hawaii at Manoa, B.A. in Speech, 1987. When I finish my degree, I hope to become a secondary Social Studies teacher in Hawaii’s public school system.

- 5. Kindergarten technology We didn’t have Sesame Street back then … (sorry Bert!) but we had Romper Room with Miss Robin and, Checkers and Pogo. (cartoons were big then)
- 6. High School Technology Electric typewriter (with correction tape; no white-out necessary), Overhead projectors, and 8-Track tape players in our cool cars
- 7. College Technology PC’s with floppy discs and My Nintendo Entertainment System (father of Sony PlayStation and X Box)
- 8. My vivid technology learning experience Coming back to college and being introduced to the ELMO projector in class. ( I was blown away, YouTube in class… amazing.)
- 9. A technology I want to use in my classroom I would love to use the site mypals.com, a site that creates a global community of connected classrooms filled with projects and forums for students to communicate, collaborate, and learn from one another.
