Arab EE Guideline                                             (I)
• Purpose : Guiding Targets, Instruments, Framework
• Scope : Provider of Energy, EE Services, Distributors
• General Targets:
    Target of Energy saving by 2020, Indicative Target,
     Cost/Effective Measures
    Develop NEEAPs and take Measures to reach the target
    To be developed for the period of 3 years, yearly review and
     assessment
• Leading Role of the Public Sector
• Promote EE and Energy Services (e.g. Energy Provider, ESCOs)
• Distributors to provide services on Energy Management and
  Audits

  Motors, Pumps, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioner
• Procurement and Public Supplies: Top Runner, EE Products,
  Auditing and Certification

• To step into a process of continual improvement

Draft NEEAPs as to be presented in the Jordan
Workshop, Amman, December 5 to 6, 2010
• 7 Draft NEEAPs were announced to be presented
• MED-NENEC actively supported the elaboration of a
  Draft NEEAP
• Template seems to be a reasonable format
• MED-ENEC will further support the harmonization of
  the format
